Who I am

Hi, My name is Matthew, but you can call me your next Software Engineer! I am excited to be making the transition from teaching to software engineering. For the past 9 years, I have been a dedicated and passionate teacher, helping students develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. However, I have always been fascinated by technology and the endless possibilities it presents. I enjoy learning new things and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, so I decided to make a career change into software engineering.

I started this journey at the beginning of 2022, studying various programming languages such as JavaScript and Python. I owe my progress to 100Devs and Leon Noel. His training agency help me land my first client. I have been honing my problem solving and logical thinking skills, which I believe will be a valuable assets in my new endeavor. I am excited to use my teaching experience to help other understand complex software concepts and to collaborate with other developers to build innovative solutions. Please take a look at my client and sample sites I have create. I look forward in making an impact in the technology industry and continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

Her end goal is to be a volunteer photographer for a non-profit and community outreach. I hope this portfolio will help her achieve this.
